Goddamn Comedy Jam

In Buzz by Sam

Taking place in small Los Angeles comedy clubs and music venues and now seen on Comedy Central, The Goddamn Comedy Jam is a unique and intimate opportunity to see some of your favorite comedians perform one-of-a-kind acts. The show, created and hosted by the sometimes abrasive yet always captivating Josh Adam Meyers, features a stacked lineup of comedians who have signed up not only to tell jokes, but to also perform a cover of a popular song with the show’s accompanying live band.

FestivalsForLife is excited to attend this month’s Goddamn Comedy Jam on Monday, March 26 at The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, and we heard things can get rowdy at these shows. Included in the lineup are comedy stars Bill Burr and Jim Jeffries, the former recently announcing a September show at The Forum. A talented drummer, it’s possible we’ll be seeing Bill Burr show off his beats on stage on Monday. Jim Jeffries, whose hysterical rant on gun control in America from his special “BARE” went viral in 2014, could very likely touch on the topic again in the recent new wave of anti-gun activism.

Other comedians we are excited to see in such a small venue are Marc Maron, a popular comedian and podcaster, and Big Jay Oakerson, who also hosts a podcast with comedian Dan Soder. Monday’s show is sold out unfortunately, but you can already purchase tickets for the July 16 show here. Or stay tuned, as we will announce if there are any sooner shows announced!
