Skyline To Breathe Life To Newly Remodeled LA State Historic Park

A unique art, music, and food festival- Skyline: Art, Music, Food, is coming to the Los Angeles State Historic Park on Saturday, May 20th, 2017. Sponsored by Radio Hill, a new-to-the-scene collection of concert producers, festival planners, and talent managers- and teaming up with local radio station 89.9 KCRW, this festival will be the first on the park’s ground since its remodeling in 2014.

The four biggest names, Miike Snow, Duke Dumont, Lido, and Eden, all hail from Europe. Additionally, each ventures into electro-pop while still placing more emphasis on lyrics than most DJs. Although Duke Dumont is a bigger name in the UK, Miike Snow has become a more mainstream name in the US, and Skyline attendees will be most excited for their set.

Another name F4L is excited for is Eden, a talented Irishman who pours all emotions into his music. His songs, which occasionally dip into mild dubstep, take you on a trip: you want to dance, but his lyrics are heartfelt and somber, often referencing a broken relationship or insecurities. Originally gaining traction for with his cover of MJ’s Billie Jean, Eden has made a bigger name for himself with his EP i think you think too much of me, which holds our favorite songs of his, sex and drugs.

The music is only a third of the fun though at Skyline. On the beautiful park grounds artists from near and far will be showcasing their work, and there will be plenty of food vendors to fill you up if you’re tired from dancing.

Tier 1 tickets are sold out, so hurry up before Tier 2 disappears; tickets are $45 before fees. You can also party with style if you would like to purchase VIP tickets for $85 before fees. VIP includes special viewing areas and a craft beer bar, among other perks.
