The song may be Something From Outer Space, but Vibe Street hails from our favorite city and state: Denver, Colorado. Ben Davis makes up Vibe Street, which has one of the more unique sounds you’ll hear. His influences come from the Electro-Hiphop-Glitch-Funk movement, and he combines those sounds with elements of bluegrass, folk, blues, and jam. In fact, Vibe Street came up with their very own genre, which he calls “Grass-Hop/Future-Folk.” Something From Outer Space is particularly fun with its blue influence and jam band feel. In our opinion, Vibe Street has mastered the art of bring the jam genre to the EDM scene- two things you wouldn’t have thought could mix.
