We have got you covered!  Join local craft beer and art lovers on Saturday, October 10, from 1-5PM in sunny Santa Monica for the Beer, Art, & Music Festival, BAM Fest, presented by Whole Foods Market. Sip over 100 brews from more than 40 local and national breweries each providing samples of their proudest brewing achievement. See art made by visiting artists from Indonesia, Malaysia, Argentina, Spain, Denmark, and Taiwan. Swing and jam to local musicians. Soak it all up with scrumptious meals from six food trucks. As a locally organized fundraising event, all proceeds benefit 18th Street Arts Center, a non-profit artist residency center. Support the arts by supporting the people who make art, the artists!

What better way to enjoy the warm weather of the weekend? The dynamic trio of beer, art, and music can’t be beat. While enjoying the refreshing tastes of great beers,  local and visiting artists will open their studios and engage the BAM guests with their artwork, all while enjoying live music at the same time. This is unlike any beer festival you have ever tried, and is definitely the “must attend” event for the weekend. See highlights from last year below!

Make sure to buy your tickets soon before they sell out! Buy tickets and find out more information about this awesome event here.

How the event started

In its sixth year, BAM Fest is the brainchild of cultural event producer Nicole Gordillo Schimpf, who created the event while on staff at 18th Street Arts Center. Nicole is a beer geek, to say the least. Her discriminating taste for the saccharification of starch and fermentation of the resulting sugar is a polished one. When she launched the very first Beer, Art, & Music Fest in 2009, she merged her sensitivity for tasty brews with her keen eye for art all to benefit the premiere artist residency program in Southern California. In 2013, Nicole started her own event production company, Tap & Cheer Events, and because of her dedication to the arts, she produces this sell-out event year after year.
