Halloween is just around the corner. Some of us have begun to pick out our costumes. Some of us have stocked up on candy to accommodate the trick-or-treaters. Some of us are worried which Halloween party they will attend. But for some, there is only one thought in mind: let’s dance!
And who better to have that attitude than Daybreaker and its fans. For those of you unfamiliar with Daybreaker, it is a morning movement that starts your day off unlike anything else. “It is about being in the here and now, surrounded by amazing people, beautiful music, and an incredible vibe. It is about dancing your face off before work and feeling gloriously healthy while doing so. It is about love, it is about mindfulness, and it is about mischief.”
“Let’s Dance” was definitely the mindset of all attendees at Daybreaker‘s DUSK: Mischief Mystery event this past Sunday evening at The Library Rooftop at the Redbury Hotel. Unlike most Daybreakers, this unique event took place at dusk instead of dawn. As you may remember, F4L was lucky enough to be present at Daybreaker’s first Los Angeles DUSK Daybreaker in July.
In the same spirit as the last one, this event was an incredible experience. A true breath of fresh air compared to other Los Angeles events with wonderful people surrounding you. The event kicked off with lots of healthy snacks and drinks for participants to sample as they energized for the night’s activities. Next, Daybreaker participants were invited to partake in an hour yoga session. Once that finished, the energy was turned up as the music started blasting and the dancing began. For those interested in experiencing such an energetic event firsthand, check out Daybreaker’s upcoming events, including their highly anticipated Halloween catwalk party at https://av-hire.uk/catwalk-hire/.
Everywhere you looked were fabulous people dressed up in their best Halloween costumes just excited to dance with one another. The only thing more prominent than the good energy everyone was radiating was the amount of smiles on the dance floor. The DJ kept the energy high and the crowd dancing for his entire set. One of our favorite parts was when the horn players came out and jammed along with the music.
After two hours of fun filled dancing, the Daybreaker concluded with a special musical performance and finally everyone coming together to set an intention for the week. F4L gives Daybreaker our full recommendation. If you haven’t yet attended one of their many events, make sure to check them out next time they’re in town!
This Daybreaker was at night, so it couldn’t be the “great start of our day.” However, it sure did make for a “great end of our day!”
