Carl Garsbo better known by his stage name Kasbo, electrified the Fonda, in Hollywood, CA this past Thursday night. The 23 year old producer from Sweeden has a unique style and polarizing sound.
The show featured a mix of originals and remixes that had the crowd moving the entire night. Our favorite numbers included Your Tempo, Allt Stood Still, and The Little Things (Big Gigantic Remix). When you watch Kasbo perform you can see his deep connection and passion for his music. His melodic sounds take you on an emotional music journey unlike anything else we’ve seen before.
Kasbo’s debut album Places We Don’t Know was released in March this year with Billboard lauding his “luscious compositions paint sunset sounds that tickle the senses” and marking him out as one of dance music’s ‘Ones to Watch’. With over 40 million streams to date, the album landed a #1 spot on the iTunes Electronic Chart on release, with a takeover of Spotify’s flagship ‘mint’ playlist amongst the many highlights. Kasbo recently released a live version of Shallou collaboration “Find” and an official remix of “Happier” by Ed Sheera
