It was almost two years ago but I remember it like yesterday – I had a nice buzz from my Bud Light Lime, the crowd was a blast – as usual – the pretty purple lights gave the night a magical hue – and the soulful, addictive tunes of Atlanta’s own Yacht Rock Revue serenaded summertime with perfection. They covered Prince’s Purple Rain album — and they killed it.
The Yacht Rock Revue is definitely one of the coolest bands out of the dirty south! Rockin’ out tributes to some of the best music during the ‘yacht rock’ era. They now tour all over the US singing great music and making fun times.
