Check out Kimono by Submotion Orchestra off Colour Theory album

In Buzz, Music by Jenee

Kimono by Submotion Orchestra has a light airy vibe that helps coerce a smile upon the down trodden winter face.

March is welcoming and promises some Spring in the near future, thankfully we have music.

Warm up, groove to the new album Colour Theory by Submotion Orchestra.  This is one of those extraordinary albums that one can listen all the way through.  Push play and go on an audio adventure. It is a great yoga playlist for a nice hour long practice.

The music of delicate piano to the intricate sounds is soothing and a little invigorating, like a big steamy cup of Constant Comment tea. Smells sweet, but it provides a nice boost and warming from the inside.

Their style mixes quite a few genres together from jazz to electronica and vocals by Rose Wood.

They hail from Leeds, UK; gathering a large following as they go along.  The new album was released on Feb. 19, so it is still fresh and you can tell your friends about it before they have heard.

The whole album is available on Spotify, and Ao, Amira, and Jaffa are some other great tracks on the album.

They are currently on tour all over the U.K. with some Sold Out shows on their city list.

Maybe next year, Submotion Orchestra will come to the United States?

Let’s hope, until then enjoy their new album.
