In honor of Electric Zoo 2015 this past weekend and Saturday night headliners Above & Beyond, here is a new version of the classic track “Fly to New York” off their latest album, “We Are All We Need.” Presumably made in preparation for last years ABGT 100 at Madison Square Garden, which featured the likes of Ilan Bluestone, Andrew Bayer, Mat Zo, and the Group Therapy trio themselves, the song got a club mix to celebrate their return to the Big Apple. I was lucky enough to attend Saturday’s festivities on Randall’s Island and watch Above & Beyond drop this version of the song along with all their biggest hits, in addition to some new remixes like Faithless’ Salva Mea, and it was an absolute journey. If you have never had the opportunity to go see an Above & Beyond show, find a way to attend one because it truly is Group Therapy. They just sold out Wembley Arena in London for a November show in which all proceeds will be donated to the mental health charity “Little Something” started for one of the group member’s late sister.
