Late afternoon showers swept through Denver Saturday night and helped clean the streets just in time for the sun to peak through for a festive and fun filled evening. With cleansed palates, the attendees of the 9th Annual Cherry Creek North Food & Wine festival in Denver, CO enjoyed food, wine, beer and spirits represented by 17 restaurants in the district. The sold-out event, featured a diverse array of culinary options. Guests were greeted by glasses of Col Solivo Presecco upon entering the outdoor venue and were able to sample a wide variety of red, white and rose wines from Italy, France, Spain and California.
Delicious tuna tartare tacos were offered by both Del Frisco’s Grille and Hapa Sushi Grill & Sake Bar. Burgers, hand shucked oysters, Italian Dip suckling pig, shrimp, and bruschetta with fresh grilled Palisade peaches included some of the diverse and sophisticated entrée samplings. The evening was topped off with mouthwatering desserts including chocolates from Enstrom Candies, Sweet Corn Mousse and Colorado Peach Jam from Second Home Kitchen & Bar and Shaved Coconut Ice with ginger, jackfruit and pandan. Live music from Mass Hipsteria nicely complemented the gastronomic occasion.
