On Wednesday, April 19th, Local Natives are set to headline their own show in between their two Coachella weekend sets. Their soulful harmonies will fill Pomona, CA’s Fox Theater, not too far from where they began in Silver Lake.
Promoting their third and newest album, Sunlit Youth, the five-piece indie rock band recently played at The Greek Theater in Los Angeles in September 2016, but fans look forward to yet another set of emotional crooning from the band’s vocalists, Taylor Rice, Kelcey Ayer, and Ryan Hahn.
Opening up for Local Natives is Tennis, a pop, husband-wife duo from Denver, Colorado. Their tuneful guitar melodies and intricate percussion in songs like Origins and Needle and a Knife, will be perfect to get the crowd excited for the main act.
If you don’t know Local Natives very well but plan on attending the concert, make sure to check out their songs Wide Eyes, Who Knows Who Cares, and Dark Days; these are staples at their shows.
