It’s been a great summer, and we are saddened to see it come to an end soon. However, Fall is just around the corner, and you know what that means: it’s finally apple season! The time of year when those delicious fruits along with many others are in season and ready to be enjoyed. Yes, we know, Los Angeles’ weather could be considered Summer year round with its excess of sunny days. So why not take advantage of both, and enjoy refreshing cider to re-energize you through those HOT September days in LA.

On September 19th, 2015 Hand Crafted Tasting Company partners with Half Pint Ciders to host the inaugural LA Cider Fest at the historic Raleigh Studios. LA Cider Fest will take attendees on a journey through the wonderful world of cider, America’s most storied adult beverage. Over 50 artisan food and beverage producers will come together offering well over 100 selections to celebrate local craft beverages and the foods that compliment them best. The Festival will guide patrons down a path to real cider, leave the sugar bombs behind, and discover what the hottest beverage category in the world is all about. Industry experts will be on hand to educate, explore, and share their passion for their craft.

Will they have the main brands of Cider there that you see at every grocery store?

No big brands at this festival, only the small batch producers who give the love and attention to every drop of divine liquid that they create. These are real ciders made with 100% fresh pressed juice. No water added. No artificial ingredients. Just the raw goods. These are orchard sourced ciders that sell out every year, relying on next year’s harvest to bring another bounty of juice. The LA Cider Fest has assembled a collection of rare products, never seen before in Southern California.

What if you’re into beer, but not sure how you feel about cider?

Craft beer? A craft beer drinker is a cider drinkers best friend. The two go hand in hand. The LA Cider Fest has organized an army of the leading craft beer producers here in LA, only the best will be on hand to quench your thirst for local brew. Hard cider would be the second highest selling craft beer style in the US if it were actually a craft beer. To connect with everyone, the LA Cider Fest has designed an all in one experience that will range by degrees of familiarity and challenge. Attendees will be met wherever they are in their cider drinking experience, and be taken to a whole new level of enjoyment! Learn how to pour cider, taste cider, compare cider to popular beer styles, pair cider with food, and also how to make delicious cocktails using cider and beer.
