Mac DeMarco has done it again with the premiere of the title track from his forthcoming mini-LP “Another One.” The song is a simple, laid back ballad about the troubles of love. Mac’s voice floats above a soft synth, accompanied by drums and bass. The sonic elements of the song contrast well with the earlier released and guitar centered “The Way You’d Love Her.” It looks like the themes of love are here to stay, however. Along with the song we are blessed with another one of the l0-fi, VHS type videos that have become a DeMarco staple. “Another One” comes out August 8th on Captured Tracks and Mac DeMarco will be hitting the road extensively this summer and beyond to promote it.
