Basecamp recently released their first EP under the record label OWSLA and it doesn’t disappoint. They have maintained their unique R&B and indie-electronic fused sound without going commercial. OWSLA was formed as a collaborative effort headed by Skrillex, and has signed artists such as Jack Ü, Zedd, Boys Noize and Dillon Francis. The Nashville band has been fairly successful on their own, but with OWSLA signed onto their journey, we can only hope they’ll finally get the recognition they deserve.
Their new EP is slightly more laid back than their previous work, but still delivers the one of a kind beats and soulful voice of Aaron Miller that we all love. Be sure to check out their music video release for the title track “Watch My Back.”
